Stuart was Hartlepool's first directly-elected Mayor and will serve a three year term of office. His portfolio includes youth, sport, crime and drugs, equality and ICT. Stuart is Vice Chair of the Hartlepool Partnership and Chair of the Community Safety Partnership.
