Home > Hartlepool Tall Ships > Travel & Parking for the Hartlepool Tall Ships

If you're using Google Maps or SatNav for directions to the town, the Hartlepool Maritime Experience (TS24 0XZ) is a good point of reference however a number of roads will be closed and "park & ride" or "park & stride" operations put in place so please follow local signage.

The must do place to park your car is in the park & ride and park & walk sites.  At least 26,000 car park spaces are available each day at the 6 designated sites.

Park & Ride

  • Off the A179 near Hart
  • Off the A689 at Greatham
  • Corus in Brenda Road

Park & Walk

  • Coronation Drive
  • Oakesway Trading Estate
  • Centre Park (off West View Road)

Frequent and reliable shuttles will take you from the Park & Ride sites directly to the event with drop off points in Greenland Road for buses from the north of the town and the new Transport Interchange for buses from the south.

Charges

Park & Ride - £10.00 on the day, £7.50 if pre-booked in advance on line or by telephone

Park & Walk - £10.00 on the day
