Das Wanderlust + High Plane Drifters + Lithium Speed Dementia

DAS WANDERLUST

On tour to promote ther debut LP out 6th October.

If John Peel were still walking this earth and muttering inanities to himself in the wee small hours about bedroom pop there's no doubt that Das Wanderlust would be held to the heart of the great man. Is that a chiming chorus of recorders? Is that a young woman in a pinafore dress shrieking her eyes out? Is that the sound of Kenicke being throttled in their sleep? Hell, yes…

LITHIUM SPEED DEMENTIA

'Their impeccable Americanised pop melodies, glided through the sea of pretty, happy faces, leaving me feeling like an extra in the OC, wanting to dance, get drunk and then sit in the corner with a friend, talking about how the world “doesn’t get me!” . . . the ghostly shape of “The Ripper.” Sang with the utmost intensity and emotion, this song continued to build and build until it reached a shuddering crescendo with the crowd chiming in with the lyrics “I feel so alive”: a perfect anthem indeed.'
