Hartlepool ’s Town Hall Theatre has a range of great entertainment over the next few months – and tickets are on sale now.
The line-up includes:
* ‘Buddy Holly and the Cricketers’ - Sunday 5th February at 7.30pm.
A fabulous new tribute show for Buddy’s 75th birthday year featuring all his classics plus the greatest hits of 50s and 60s legends including Chuck Berry, Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers, Little Richard and The Beatles. Tickets £15, or £14 for concessions.
* ‘Macbeth’ - Monday 13th February at 7.30pm and Tuesday 14th February at 1pm.
Unrivalled on the battlefield, the Scottish warrior Macbeth is rewarded with rank and favour by a grateful king, but with each enemy butchered to feed his vaulting ambition, his lust for power tightens its grip. Shakespeare’s epic tragedy is brought vividly to life in this bloodthirsty new production by Icarus, one of the UK’s most fearless touring companies. Tickets cost £12, or £11 for concessions.
* ‘Big Pants and Botox’ - Wednesday 29th February at 7.30pm.
Barbara has just survived an eventful ‘significant’ birthday which has started her thinking about many things, not least the merits of big pants and botox. Join her as she embarks on an hilarious, emotional and ultimately uplifting journey in a sparkling production starring Rebecca Wheatley of TV’s ‘Casualty’. Tickets £10, or £9 for concessions.
‘Derek Acorah – The True Vision Tour’ - Thursday 29th March at 7.30pm.
With many years of stage and television appearances to his name, Derek Acorah is one of the UK’s most well-known spirit mediums and his friendly approach and down-to-earth charm have endeared him to thousands of people. Tickets £16, or £15 for concessions.
‘all weller’ - Friday 20th April at 7.30pm.
In a stunning sound and style portrayal, tribute band ‘all weller’ replicates the individual musical and vocal styles of each phase of Phil Weller’s 30-plus years in music, capturing all the energy of his performances.
